“Get Hooked” Class (Level 1-3):

Jump right in to kiteboarding with our intensive six hour course. This course includes course one through three. Kite control, safety, body dragging, self rescuing, and board skills all in one course. This course is made for the student that already has a bit of board skills, wether it be snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, wake boarding, or wind surfing. Our water courses are boat or PWC assisted.

Intro to Kite Boarding Class (Level 1):

Students learn basic kite control at this level. Using a progressive range of kites they learn; equipment setup, safety, kite theory, steering, the power zone, launching, landing, kite mechanics, and terminology. This two hour course is conducted locally on land. At the end of this course students should be able to demonstrate all the above skills competently.

The Body Drag Class (Level 2):

Dragging along with the kite can be a exciting time while learning to kiteboard. This is where students learn relaunching, dragging , powering and depowering, refined kite control and self rescue. During level 2 we determine whether you are ready for a board. Students should be able to demonstrate all the skills in the previous levels plus the ones mentioned above. This two hour course is conducted on the water with PWC or boat assistance.

Board Skills Class (Level 3):

Students learn board placement, one handed kite control, refined power strokes, edging, speed control, basic riding, self rescuing, timing, hooking, unhooking and sheeting. Students should be able to demonstrate all the skills in lesson one and two before they take this course. Students will be free to ride as far as they wish on the bay. This water course is boat or PWC assisted.

"Get Dialed" (Level 4):

Have us join you at one of our local spots to assist you on your first time out on the water with your own gear and your own kite plan. You decide where we should set up, how we should launch, if the wind is the right amount for your kite, where to ride, and where to come in. We will be right there to stop you from making any huge mistakes and once you get into the water we will be right by your side with our personal water craft to assist you with further instructions. This course is three hours and is conducted on the land and in the water at one of our local spots. Our water courses are boat or PWC assisted.

“All Ready Hooked” (Level 5):

Tired of body drags or going down wind? Did you already take a lesson but you don’t feel dialed in? Did you learn from a buddy that left a few things out? Then this is the course for you. We will get you in the water and assess your proficiency then take it from there. This course is for intermediate and advanced riders that want to push their abilities to the next level. The things that can be covered in this course are staying up wind, going down wind, self launching, rigging, speed control, transitions, wave riding, etiquette, jumping, all tricks, and a bit more. This three hour course is conducted on the land and in the water with PWC or boat assistance.

Want to ride the waves with a kite? This 3 hour course will take you to the hottest coastal spots in California. We will teach you safety, etiquette and the skills needed to carve it up.
